About TabmileBot

TabmileBot is the scanner of Tabmile, an accessibility monitoring tool. It checks websites for accessibility issues, such as images without a text alternative or controls you cannot reach with a keyboard.

It identifies itself with this user agent: TabmileBot/0.1 (+https://tabmile.com/bot; accessibility monitoring on behalf of the site owner). It never poses as another bot or as an ordinary browser.

It checks a site only when the site owner, or the agency that maintains the site, has added it for monitoring, or when someone requests our free scan, which checks at most 5 public pages once. On sites whose owner has not verified them with us, it respects robots.txt.

To stop it, add "User-agent: TabmileBot" and "Disallow: /" to your robots.txt, or e-mail info@maasiso.nl. We stop all checks of your site within 2 working days.

It never places orders or makes payments, and it never tests security or tries to get past logins or CAPTCHAs.
